Back in Austin!

Austin was good to me last time, but we'll see how well I do this time around.

I flew in to participate in the WPT Prime Lodge Festival in Round Rock, TX. Today will be the $400 buy-in/$500K guarantee tournament. Looking at past results, looks like they'll pay out the top 12% but only the top 8% will make it to Day 2. Here's a summary of what's happened thus far:

Flight A: 10/116
Flight B: 8/93
Flight C: 8/91
Flight D: 8/100
Flight E: 9/109
Flight F: 14/166
Flight G: 15/190

So far, there are 72 people that made it to Day 2 with a total of 865 entries, meaning that the prize pool stands at $285k. I'm guessing that the three flights today will be massive, averaging about 200-250. I'm planning on playing in Flight H. Hoping that I run good today and that luck will be on my side. Maybe I'll see some familiar faces too.
